Are you ready to "dress to impress" in your best Hillbilly attire and play some washers and drink some iced cold beer? Me too!!! Join Wichitanightlife.com April 5th 2009 at the fox and hound as we party like a hillbilly!!!

 

There will be $3.00 big bud and bud light draws, and $3.50 monster bombs!! The theme for the night is "Dress like a Hillbilly" There will be a Worst Dressed contest, potato sack race, pool tournament, and several games of washers. Karaoke starts at 10 and we will party all night!! So get your overalls, leave your shirts and we will see you there!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! Every year I look forward to that one special day where you get to wear green but more or less, you get to drink the infamous Irish Car Bombs and you can have more than one without people thinking you had a rough day at work!!

 

Here is a list of places in Ta Town that are participating in this special tradition:

 

Club Indigo: D.J. and drink specials on Irish Beer and Car Bombs.

 

Emerson Biggin's: 32 ounce Green Miller Lights for $4.75 and half price burgers as well as specials on Guinness and Irish Whiskey.

 

Firk & Bull: Specials will be on all Irish beers, whiskey. Green beer, and corned beef and cabbage.

 

Fox & Hound: $2 Guinness, Harp, and Black and Tan drafts as well as green beer and Corned Beef and Cabbage.

 

Heroes: $2.75 green beer draws, Guinness, and Live Bagpipers.

 

Kelly's Irish Pub: Corned Beef and Cabbage, Green Beer, and Bagpipers.

 

O'Briens: Drink Specials on Irish beers, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Corned Beef Sandwiches, and Bagpipers.

 

Snoops: Corned Beef and Cabbage, and Green Beer.

 

The Artichoke: Drink Specials, Mulligan Stew, and Corned Beef Sandwiches.

 

The Shadow: Starting at 4 there will be specials on all Irish beer, green beer, car bombs and Corned Beef and Cabbage, and Bagpipers.

 

The Shamrock: Drink specials on Irish Whisky and Green Beer, as well as Corned Beef and Cabbage, and Bagpipers.

Thank you all who participated in the American Icon contest at the Fox and Hound this past Wednesday. It was a lot of fun and a huge success!! Congratulations to our 6 winners who will advance as one of the 18 chosen few competing for $1000 grand prize along with $500 worth of recording studio time from Brickhouse Studios. This week's winners are: Aubrey Slief, Almand Streblow, Woody Stewart, Candice Swedenberg, Brett, and Chris Rowe!! This concludes the auditions and we now have our 18 participants who will go on to the next round. Each week 2 will be participants will be eliminated until there are only 2 remaining. On May 13th the final 2 contestants will battle it out on stage until one remains!!

I had the opportunity to listen to everyone, and I have to say the judges had a very hard job in choosing the winners.
